Four wines awarded at the Meran Wine Hunter

The Falanghina IGT Campania Terre del Principato, vintage 2023, won the GOLD WINE prize at the Meran Wine Hunter Awards, the competition promoted by Helmut Köcher, founder and organiser of the Merano Wine Festival, an internationally renowned event taking place in Alto Adige that aims at discovering and promoting quality wines.

The GOLD prize, which corresponds to a score of 93-95.99/100, is given to wines characterised by pleasantness, elegance, fullness, and complexity ‘with a sensational “wow!” effect’, as the competition rules state.

Also the Aglianico IGT Campania 2022 Terre del Principato, the Ribolla Gialla IGT Venezia Giulia 2023 Valvitis and the Prosecco DOC Extra Dry La Casada were praised and received the RED WINE award, granted to wines that express particular harmony and quality in all their components (pleasantness, elegance, bouquet, fullness, complexity, length and typicality for monovarietal).
