Japo is Technical Partner of the 34th edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari

C&C is pleased to announce its partnership with the 2024 edition of the Gran Premio Nuvolari: our Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Japo will be served at dinners during the event, which will take place from Friday 20th to Sunday 22nd September.

The race, established to celebrate the myth of Tazio Nuvolari, runs along a 1,100 km route starting and arriving in Mantua, birthplace of the famous driver, and passes through Lombardy, Veneto, Trentino, Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Marche, with stages in some of the most evocative places in Italy.

The Gran Premio Nuvolari is not only a regularity rally for historic cars attracting every year around three hundred crews from all over the world, but also a true showcase for the excellences of “Made in Italy”, well represented by the Prosecco Superiore Japo.

Produced in a unique territory, the Valdobbiadene hills, which were recently proclaimed UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Prosecco Japo embodies the values of beauty and conviviality, and is the expression of an ancient oenological know-how that has been handed down from one generation to the next.

‘We are delighted to be Technical Partner of the Gran Premio Nuvolari with our Prosecco Japo,’ said Gianni Coassin, founder and owner of C&C, who has always been passionate about cars and speed. ‘The secret ingredient of an excellent wine is not its quality raw materials, nor the oenological skills put into production: these elements are necessary, but not sufficient. What really makes a good wine unforgettable is passion. Just as we at C&C produce every single bottle of Japo with passion, so the team that organises the Gran Premio Nuvolari has been doing so for over thirty years with the utmost dedication, making this event an international benchmark for the motor racing sector.’

In addition to being tasted during the dinners, Japo will be uncorked at the prize-giving ceremony, which will take place at the end of the third leg of the race on Sunday 22nd September in the breathtaking setting of Piazza Sordello in Mantua.
