Contact the team„Japo“ Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG received a new important award: both the Brut and Extra Dry wines were awarded the gold medal at the 2022 Berliner Wine Trophy, Germany’s most influential wine competition organized under the patronage of the International Organization for Vine and Wine (OIV) and the International Union of Oenologists (UIOE).
The tasting took place from 26 February to 6 March and involved over 14.000 wines from 40 different countries. This year the competition allowed only 30% of the wines participating in each category to be awarded, as a testament to the accurate and strict selection of the wines.
As highlighted in the tasting notes accompanying the award, „Japo“ Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut and Extra Dry feature great harmony and elegance with intense aromatic notes both to the nose and to the mouth.
