Our wines score higher than 90/100 in the Maroni’s Best Italian Wines Guide

All 6 wines presented this year in the 2023 Guide to the Best Italian Wines edited by Luca Maroni reached and exceeded the score of 90/100.

Ducalis Blanc de Blancs Extra Dry 2021 proved to be the best in the Tasting: “it features the most balanced, elegant, clear reference to a creamy fruit, finely smooth, with a rarely refined aroma”. This is the comment to the sparkling wine, which was awarded a remarkable 93/100.

The entire line of sparkling wines reviewed was much appreciated, with particular reference to the “extraordinary olfactory clarity, [...] a fruit of cleanliness such as to result in more than an aromatic floral trait, as much as an absolutely intact residual oxidative integrity [...]”.

Our Japo DueGrammi Extra Brut was praised as a “well-balanced on the palate” sparkling wine, earning 91/100; whilst our Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Extra Dry 2021 Zimor was described as “superiorly pleasant”, winning 92 points, 2 more than the Brut version.

Finally, both the Valvitis Ribolla Gialla Spumante, particularly appreciated for its integrity, and the Barolo DOCG Dhaara, of which Maroni underlined the important and pleasant consistency, were awarded a score of 91/100.
