Piedmont
Piedmont is the land of great red wines, of the sumptuous and aristocratic Barolo, but also of the more “informal” Barbera.
In this region peaks of excellence are reached in the Langhe, Roero, Asti and Monferrato areas, where the rocky substrate covered by glacial deposits, the temperate, sub-continental climate, together with the excellent exposure of the hills, make the territory ideal for growing grapes.
The most typical variety of the region is certainly Nebbiolo, at the basis of numerous DOCG wines. Among the whites the Moscato stands out, and other indigenous vines such as Cortese, used in the interesting Gavi DOCG wine. We could not miss to be present with our brand in the region that boasts the highest number of DOC and DOCG appellations in the country and is home to the most famous Italian red wine in the world.
