Apulia
Apulia is one of the first regions where the vine was exported from Greece: the fact that still today many vines are grown in saplings in testament to this. Over the centuries, Apulia has served as a pool for blending wines, to give backbone and colour to the finest wines of the North.
From the 90s there has been a reversal of trend, with the continuous enhancement and valorisation of native varieties, such as the Primitivo, particularly appreciated for its robust structure, deep colour, and spiciness, pairing well with the tastiest dishes of the Salento cuisine.
